is a Marquee Backdrop?
A Marquee Backdrop is a digitally printed
backdrop. Marquee Backdrops are printed on a high resolution large
format printer primarily onto vinyl. It is possible to print onto
a variety of substrates, from backlightable vinyl to canvas. Vinyl
backdrops are particularly suited to use in outdoor environments and

What
is the advantage of Vinyl Marquee Backdrops?
Dirt:
Soiling with mud etc., on backdrops used in outdoor environments can
be costly and difficult to clean. Vinyl
Marquee Backdrops can be cleaned
with a hose-pipe and mild detergent with no risk of damage to the
backdrop.
Water: Rain and
exposure to dampness can quickly ruin a backdrop painted on canvas.
Natural fibre canvas is particularly prone to water damage. Marquee
Backdrops are unaffected by exposure to water.
Light:
Unwanted backlight in daytime and nighttime is often a source of concern
in marquees as walls may allow light through which affects the quality
of the image on the front of the backdrop. Extra time and money is
required to hang backcloths to block the light.

What
about Size?
As the average
marquee (tent) has a wall height of 2.1m (7ft), the size of rented
backdrops is often a problem for decorators as the backdrop has to
be folded back so much to fit the marquee wall height that most of
the image is lost. Any part of the backdrop touching the ground is
also likely to be soiled.

How
do they hang?
Marquee
Backdrops come with eyelet's on
the top and a 50mm pipe sleeve on the bottom.
How
are they shipped and stored?
Marquee Backdrops are always shipped
and stored on tubes to avoid creases on the vinyl caused by folding.
