FAQ about Renting a Backdrop

Q: Can one buy a backdrop or is it only for rent?
A: All Creations Fantastic backdrops may either be purchased or rented.

Q: What sizes are the Backdrops?
A: All of the backdrop sizes are indicated on the enlargement page of the backdrop.

Q: What is the cost of buying or renting a backdrop?
A: The cost of purchasing a backdrop will be determined by the size of the backdrop. The cost of rental will be determined by the duration of the lease. Click here for either RENTAL PRICES or PURCHASE PRICES.

Q: What does shipping cost?
A: Shipping costs vary depending on your location. As an example, the cost of shipping a single backdrop one-way anywhere in the USA is approximately $50-$80, but other regions will vary accordingly.

Q: How do I rent a backdrop?
A: By calling Creations Fantastic or it's Accredited Agents listed on our website or by completing the order form on our website.

Q: Is it better to Rent a backdrop or Buy a backdrop?
A: This depends on your objectives and budget. For more information please see Rental Vs Purchase.

Q: Do you have to pay a deposit when your order is placed?
A: Yes. The order will only be confirmed upon receipt of a deposit amounting to 50% of the value of the order.

Q: How soon before the date of a function must the order be placed?
A: For rentals, the order must be confirmed at least 30 days prior to the date of the function. For customized backdrops, booking 6 weeks prior to the event is required. (See: Rental Terms And Conditions)

Q: How do we pay?
A: By check, credit card, or direct deposit into the Creations Fantastic or Accredited Agents account. (See: Rental Terms And Conditions)

Q: How many backdrops do you have available?
A: Creations Fantastic has 100's of backdrop designs available for rent. Every month the stock is added to with new designs.

Q: I want to hire a backdrop but I don't see what I am looking for in your stock, do you do custom rentals?
A: Contact us and explain what you are looking for. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.(See: Contact Us)

Q: Who is responsible for installing and erecting the backdrop?
A: The customer is responsible for hanging the backdrop.

Q: How are backdrops hung?
A: Very easily. The backdrops have a sleeve at the top for a rod or pipe and also sturdy ties which may be used instead of a rod to tie onto a structure at the venue. A backdrop will normally take 2 people no more than 10-15 minutes to erect. (See: How to Hang a Backdrop)

Q: Why are your backdrops available for rent and purchase on other companies websites?
A: We are the designers and producers of many backdrops supplied to leading special events companies around the world. Many companies purchase our backdrops to generate revenues.
